long-term plan : ride UFO

i made this about 2 months ago. just finished coloring today afternoon. i had a plan to ride UFO and goin to outer space since i was a kid. meet some aliens friends will be great and have some coffee time on moon is my dream imagination. i really love everything about outer space ♥
This film has been consistently hailed as the worst movie ever made.
Because of its script, acting, special effects, and multiple production errors visible in the final version of the film, Plan 9 from Outer Space is often regarded as a leading candidate for the title of “worst movie ever made”. It has also earned Wood a posthumous Golden Turkey Award as the worst director ever. -

inglorious basterds rocks! go see it!

Well, about Inglorious Basterds, you would be right. Now, obviously to have the aforementioned qualifiers would make Mr. Tarantino’s work BAD for some people and GOOD for some others. The Tarantino trademarks (as I call them) were all there but there was a maturity to the film that I knew would arrive some day. I began pick up on this evolution upon seeing Jackie Brown, but then lost it watching the Kill Bill saga.I think the maturity is back and if there’s any fairness in the movie-making world, QT will start being recognized as a serious director and artist after the Basterds.Inglorious Basterds is a period piece set during the Nazi occupation of France and because of the way that Tarantino and his crew treated it and shot it, you will never lose track of the setting of the film. Most people know that the main difficulty with period pieces is to keep the viewer engaged and believing they’re watching something that took place may years ago but the film overcomes this obstacle with ease.
Quentin’s sense of humor is dark and exotic in all his films, (some may even call it a little ‘manic’) but the Basterds gave him an opportunity to write funnies more than showing them, this accounted for some cleverly written stuff. While I feel like my brain is going to melt for saying this, Brad Pitt is actually really good in the film and his character Aldo, is one of the funniest.

andy warhol stay on my tee ♥

my biyfriend gave this andy warhol tees about a year ago, unfortunately this tee was oversized, so i never wear it. but, when i opened the closet, i found this great tee and i really want to wear this tee. so i took this tee to a tailor. so i can wear it :)
Andy Warhol began as a commercial illustrator, and a very successful one, doing jobs like shoe ads for I. Miller in a stylish blotty line that derived from Ben Shahn. He first exhibited in an art gallery in 1962, when the Ferus Gallery in Los Angeles showed his 32 Campbell's Soup Cans, 1961-62. From then on, most of Warhol's best work was done over a span of about six years, finishing in 1968, when he was shot. And it all flowed from one central insight: that in a culture glutted with information, where most people experience most things at second or third hand through TV and print, through images that become banal and disassociated by repeated again and again and again, there is role for affectless art.

Perfume

Perfume is one of my fave movie. based on the best selling novel by Patrick Suskind "The story of a Murderer" is a story of a deadly obsession set in 18th-Century France. Not giving the plot away though because it is one of those that really deserves the joy of discovery (if you should decide on this adventure). Beautifully shot… both brutal and divinely spectacular (really, you can almost smell this movie) with a sweeping epic feel about it… plus a very definite European sensibility (think “The Tin Drum” crossed with “Amelie“). The quirk (appreciation for me) is that the film has a delicious amoral sense to it sprinkled with moments of sweetness and dark humor… which I suspect is one of the elements that garnered the more negative responses.
